About Artist, Martine L'Etoile: After attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Martine found her niche in painting and her experience in fiber arts gave way to this technique. Adding the medium of wax helped to create a unique undertone to the oils and has set her work apart. "Very Original", "Powerful" and "Otherworldly" are some people's word describing her art.
