Ζωγραφική Παστέλ

Το Pastel είναι ένα όργανο που χρησιμοποιείται ευρέως στις πλαστικές τέχνες. Λαμβάνοντας τη μορφή έγχρωμου πλαστικού ραβδιού, αποτελείται από χρωστικές ουσίες, ένα υλικό πλήρωσης (κιμωλία ή γύψο) και ένα συνδετικό (αραβικό κόμμι, λάδι, κερί). Διακρίνουμε κυρίως λιπαρές παστέλ (λάδι ή κερί), ξηρές παστέλ, μαλακές ή σκληρές. Born in 1980 in Dnepropetrovsk, Serge Kryzhanovsky has a fancy mixture of ethnicities in his blood – from Cossacks to Polish nobles, and he says that his diverse roots alternately influence his life and creative choices. Serge started to study painting and drawing at the age of nine, which wasn’t a rare thing at that time in Dnepropetrovsk, for the city was one of the south art capitals of the USSR. The artist continued to study art and hone his skills in Voronezh. Being a careful and thoughtful observer, he has always been into portraying of human emotions and all kinds of social interactions, so that he found it quite reasonable to get a Certificate in Psychology as well.

In 2005, Serge Kryzhanovsky moved to Moscow where he got to brush shoulders with famous artists and film-makers. He often names Eduard Belyaev, a famous Russian animator, among people who influenced his artistic career the most. Since 2006 Serge has been making a successful career in animation working with great professionals, such as Giorgi Danelia, Anton Lanshakov, Tatyana Iiina, Aleksandr Liutkevich, just to name a few. Serge Kryzhanovsky has actively contributed to the projects which were successfully released. He has never stopped sharpening his painting and graphic skills, yet got around to exhibition activities only in 2021.

Serge Kryzhanovsky is a candidate member of Artists’ Union of Russia and a member of Eurasian Art Union. In 2021 he participated in more than twelve online exhibitions. Fruitful creative collaboration with Guzelle Shakirova in the art-duo ArtAffair resulted in prizes in two juried exhibitions in 2021: St.Petersburg ArtWeek and International Festival of Erotic Arts in Moscow.

Serge’s works are currently represented in international online-galleries and private collections, American and Russian as well. Recently he joined a group of famous Russian crypto-artists. The artist splits his time between Saint-Petersburg and Kazan and both cities eternally nourish his imagination and inspiration. Serge Kryzhanovsky is a bright postmodernist, his works include oil and acrylic paintings as well as graphic pieces.
