C’est à l’âge de 12 ans que mon Grand-père paternel mit entre mes mains un porte-mine Critérium. Autodidacte, avec les années je me suis construit une technique qui m’est propre, elle me permet un art réaliste qui ne cherche pas à rivaliser avec le réel mais à en proposer une autre lecture en glissant une dimension esthétique personnelle.
Après avoir pratiqué pendant de nombreuses années la peinture à l'huile, mes créations sont aujourd’hui essentiellement à base de pastel sec, sa douceur et sa couleur en font une technique à part.
Le dessin me permet d’évoquer mon univers et expliquer un tableau serait pour moi une forme d’échec, j’aspire à ce qu’il soit compris au premier regard !
