Πώς να ορίσετε το Σουρεαλισμός στυλ ;
Ο σουρεαλισμός είναι ένα λογοτεχνικό και καλλιτεχνικό κίνημα που εμφανίστηκε στη Γαλλία το 1924, γραμμένο από τον André Breton. Μπορεί να μεταφραστεί ως "πάνω από τον ρεαλισμό" ή "περισσότερο από το πραγματικό". Για τον υποκινητή του, είναι μια υπαγόρευση της σκέψης, όπου πρέπει να διαγραφούν οι λόγοι και οι αισθητικές ή ηθικές ανησυχίες. Για τον Μπρετόν, ο σουρεαλισμός δικαιολογείται από την επιθυμία για χειραφέτηση: ελευθερώνοντας το ασυνείδητο να το συμφιλιώσει με το συνειδητό, η ανθρωπότητα θα είναι σε θέση να απελευθερωθεί από τους περιορισμούς που επιβάλλει η λογική και ο λόγος. Επομένως, οι καλλιτέχνες και οι συγγραφείς θα εμπνευστούν από το κίνημα του Ντάντα, καθώς και από τις διατριβές του Σίγκμουντ Φρόιντ, και από τα έργα των συμβολιστών, ιδίως από αυτά του Γκουστάβ Μόουρα και του Οδίλντον Ρόντον. Στη βιβλιογραφία, αυτή η προσέγγιση θα εκδηλωθεί σε περίεργα πειράματα, όπως η αυτόματη γραφή ή το εξαιρετικό πτώμα. Στην τέχνη, διαφορετικά ρεύματα θα ξεχωρίζουν: μιλάμε για οργανικό σουρεαλισμό (Joan Miro, André Masson, Max Ernst), για όσους χρησιμοποιούν αυτόματες τεχνικές για να απελευθερώσουν τη δημιουργική τους φαντασία ή ονειρικό σουρεαλισμό (Salvador Dali, René Magritte) για εκείνους που Χρησιμοποιήστε παραδοσιακές τεχνικές για να εκπροσωπήσετε σουρεαλιστικά θέματα (οράματα, όνειρα, παραισθησιολογικές σκηνές, παρορμήσεις, φόβους, φοβίες, επιθυμίες…). Ο σουρεαλισμός έχει ένα πρόσωπο: αυτό του Ντάλι και των μουστακιών του, αλλά έχει επίσης εμβληματικά έργα σε πολύ διαφορετικά μέσα, όπως τα γλυπτά του Alberto Giacometti (Γυναίκα με το κομμένο λαιμό, τα χέρια που κρατούν το κενό ...) ή τις φωτογραφίες του Man Ray (Μαύρο και Λευκό, Βιολί d'Ingres, Το Δώρο…). Η ελβετική καλλιτέχνης Meret Oppenheim από την πλευρά της συνθέθηκε με αυτά τα διαφορετικά μέσα (γλυπτά, φωτογραφίες, έτοιμα) για να μεταγράψει με ποίηση την έκταση αυτού του ρεύματος. Τα επαναλαμβανόμενα θέματα και τα σύμβολα του σουρεαλισμού είναι: απροσδόκητες συναντήσεις, ασυνήθιστες αντιπαραθέσεις, απάνθρωπες μάσκες (αφρικανικές, αέριο ή βιομηχανικές), τα μάντια προσευχής (που ενσαρκώνουν τον φόβο των γυναικών), καθώς και παντ (ειδικά μεταξύ του τίτλου του έργου και της σύνθεσης ) και άλλα οπτικά πανκ, όπως το περίφημο "This is not a pipe" του Βέλγου Ρεν Μαγκρίτ.
