I went to look for an excuse for the evening plein air and unexpectedly saw a stunning view of the distant mountains in the light of the sunset, people's houses on the plain and the Carpathian smoke in the background.
The entire space is permeated with warm sunset light.
The painting is made by professional Italian Maimeri Blu watercolor on 100% cotton paper with a weight of 300 grams, which will give the drawing durability.

Andrii Kovalyk, a Ukrainian traveling artist, was born in 1986 in the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He received a professional icon painting education, during his studies he copied ancient icons in some of the largest museums. During his studies and several years later, he painted churches and painted icons. But in 2018, he decided to fulfill his old dream of a round-the-world trip. Since then, he has been traveling almost non-stop on a bicycle in different countries all the world and painting from nature.
Through travels, he gets to know himself and the world around him, and with the help of painting he tries to convey the whole range of emotions and impressions from the stories that happen enough during his travels.
Participant and prize winner of international exhibitions and competitions.
Paintings and icons are kept in private collections in the USA, United Kingdom, other countries of Europe and the world.
Now lives and travels in Spain.
