Il contatto quotidiano con la terra e l’esercizio continuo delle arti risultano determinanti nel 2010, perché diventano mezzi potenti per elaborare il dolore per la scomparsa prematura ed improvvisa del marito. Mamma di due bambine, operaia, artista. Si fa notare nella poesia e nella prosa, ottenendo numeosi premi e segnalazioni di merito e pubblicando nel 2017 il romanzo autobiografico dal titolo "Fluir di Fiume". Riotto Mita si distingue anche nella pittura, e soprattutto nella pittoscultura, creando uno stile inimitabile e assolutamente originale, utilizzando materiali di scarto provenienti dall'industria elettronica. Appare su riviste artistiche, riceve importanti recensioni, espone a mostre sia personali che collettive.
