Innovative and expressive visual artist specializing in painting, installation, sculpture, and performance. With a deep foundation in abstract expressionism and over two decades of international exhibitions, Sofia explores the emotional layers of the human experience through contemporary artistic practices. Her works are held in numerous private and institutional collections across Europe, Asia, and America.
EducationShe studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the guidance of Nikos Kessanlis and later apprenticed with the renowned abstract expressionist painter Igor Gorsky in New York.– Focused on abstract expressionism and large emotional compositions.Printmaking has always been one of her great passions, which led her to the Athens Printmaking Art Center, Pandolfini & Siaterli studio.
