This artist uses symbols and geometric elements to represent the indigenous traditions of Mexico.
In this artwork on amate paper, the young artist created his own version of an indigenous codex.
The codices were a collection of documents made by members of indigenous people. These documents were a testimony to the way Mesoamerican Indigenous conceived of time and history.
