How to delete / archive an artwork?

To delete an image from your gallery, you must archive it. While we do not recommend deleting any images, if you still wish to proceed, you can find all the necessary information below.

You should not delete any artwork!

We strongly recommend that artists never delete artworks even if they are sold or unavailable.
  • The works sold reassure the visitors
  • Non-available works give a sense of rarity to your collection
  • Sold works are a proven record of success and help experts establishing your certified artist value

If you delete artworks, then you lose

  • all the positioning on the search engines
  • links from social networks
  • additions to collections & favorites
  • It is then necessary to start your entire SEO all over again!

If you still want to delete an artwork

  1. Go to: MY ACCOUNT > ARTWORKS
  2. Select the parent Gallery, then click on the image to delete
  3. At the bottom of the page, click on the red button: ARCHIVE ARTWORK.

Deletion delays

The artwork will be immediately removed from your gallery and will no longer be visible to your visitors. However, it may take a short time to be fully cleared from the server cache. Additionally, it can take several days for it to be completely removed from Google servers.

How to reactivate archived artworks?

  1. Go to: MY ACCOUNT > ARTWORKS
  2. Click the Filters button and select "Archived"
  3. Click the button: REACTIVATE

NB: when you reactivate an artwork, it will be immediately available to your visitors, but it may take some time before Google indexes it again.
