The project "In-out model" raises the issue of self-identification of a person and its relationship with society in this matter. Where does our perception of ourselves end and dependence on others' opinions? The human person grows out of the interpersonal interactions of society and the perception of others. Can we remain who we are and are I without the opinion of others?
The works refer the viewer to the image of a model posing for artists – this is a naked body in front of many opinions about it. Working with the body as an object and the reflecting film made it possible to freely modify the image. Working with these distortions is a tool for transmitting the complex process of human perception of oneself and the world around us.
Playing with the reality and interpretation of the human body and personality has always been of great importance. In today’s world, where online communication consumes everything, the perception of oneself and how we perceive others is especially important, because there are more people around...

The project «Myth of a Woman» is based on problems perception of female body in modern world. I turn to the notion of myth as a narrative that conveys people’s ideas of the world, concentrating on the image of women in this world, the divine, the tragic and the heroic in her.
Based on deep cultural memory and European mythology, I tell the story of strength, sacrifice, sexuality, acceptance, courage and others. All the complex images that have been built over millennia are being transferred to the modern way.
Playing with the reality and interpretation of the human body and personality has always been of great importance. I am repeating Roland Barthes - «everything can become a myth», I create a modern myth about a woman’s body, with reworked images of the past.
In the modern world, we create a myth, for the content of which we ourselves are responsible to the future.

Βιογραφικό
Η Apollinariia Ilina είναι φωτογράφος, κινηματογραφιστής και καλλιτέχνης με έδρα τη Μόσχα. Σπούδασε Κινηματογραφία και έχει μεταπτυχιακό στην Ιστορία της Τέχνης. Έργα καλλιτεχνών παρουσιάστηκαν στην Αρλ, το Παρίσι και τη Μόσχα.
Η Απολλινάρια αποκαλύπτει στα έργα της την ψυχολογία της ανθρώπινης αντίληψης και αυτοπροσδιορισμού. Βασισμένος στην πολιτιστική μνήμη, ο καλλιτέχνης εργάζεται με την ψυχολογία της αντίληψης του ανθρώπινου σώματος σε εννοιολογικά προβλήματα. Εργάζεται με το αντικείμενο του σώματος, χρησιμοποιώντας σημειωτική και τεχνικές τροποποιήσεις, δημιουργώντας μια συγκεκριμένη εικόνα: «Αυτό που βλέπουμε είναι η εμπειρία μας».
Η εργασία με έναν καθρέφτη αποκαλύπτει και απορρίπτει στοιχεία του φανταστικού και αφήνει μόνο την καθαρή πραγματικότητα της συνείδησης και της εμπειρίας. Έτσι, ο προβληματισμός είναι ένα πεδίο πραγματικότητας, ειλικρίνειας και μερικές φορές μυστικισμού του συγγραφέα και ο καθρέφτης είναι ένας καμβάς.
