I study art in Oviedo art school, drawing, painting, and I started studying photography in the dark room. My beginnings with the chemical photo influence my images. My monochromatic photographs are washed in elements of over-exposure, negative space and shadows, shadows are silence and mystery. The hymn to silene series raises thoughts about time, is my visual language, a way of communication.Within the black, brown, red, yellow or white skin color, there are several subtle combinations, or nuances, that are known as flesh tones. Like the yin and yang philosophy, many colors come together to make one color, and in one color exists many different colors. For example, from a distance we see White complexion, Black complexion, Brown complexion or Red complexion. When we look closer, we start to notice the blues, pinks, yellows, purples and all the subtle nuances ranging from muted to intense mixtures, warm and cool tones. It’s just like looking at a computer image. If you reduce or scale down a picture to a smaller size, the picture will get as fine and detailed as possible. But enlarge it and you will see big squares of pixels.

Junko, artist photographer, studied art at the School of Fine Arts in Oviedo (Spain). She is passionate about drawing and painting, and begins to study darkroom photography. His beginnings in chemical photography influenced his images.

Junko's monochrome photographs are imbued with elements of overexposure, negative space and shadows. The shadows symbolize silence and mystery. His series entitled "Hymne à la silene" arouses reflections on time. It is his visual language, a form of communication.

Within black, brown, red, yellow, or white skin tones are subtle combinations or shades known as skin tones. Like the yin and yang philosophy, many colors come together to form a single color, and within a single color are many different shades.
