Junko

Junko, artist photographer, studied art at the School of Fine Arts in Oviedo (Spain). She is passionate about drawing and painting, and begins to study darkroom photography. His beginnings in chemical photography influenced his images.

Junko's monochrome photographs are imbued with elements of overexposure, negative space and shadows. The shadows symbolize silence and mystery. His series entitled "Hymne à la silene" arouses reflections on time. It is his visual language, a form of communication.

Within black, brown, red, yellow, or white skin tones are subtle combinations or shades known as skin tones. Like the yin and yang philosophy, many colors come together to form a single color, and within a single color are many different shades.
