Incorporé la pintura muy diluida y busqué la composición, las manchas y las formas que me interesan. Mi trabajo es muy emotivo y espero transmitirlo al espectador.
Trabajo principalmente en acrílico y también preparo el lienzo previamente, me encanta que la pintura fluya y luego cree transparencias. Me gusta el acrílico porque seca más rápido que el óleo y me permite jugar con los fluidos del agua mezclada con la pintura. En ocasiones también integro otros elementos como grafito o ceras.
Esta obra lleva una pequeña cenefa de madera natural de 1 cm de espesor. La obra mide 100 x 100 x 2 cm y con la cenefa 102 x 103 x 5 cm.

Initially, painting was a hobby for her, but it wasn't until the 1990s that she began to approach it more seriously. This marked a return to her roots, as she began to experiment with oil and acrylic paints, as well as unconventional materials such as pumice stone, marble dust, cardboard, and collage elements. Her work became imbued with a sense of ornamental richness, reflecting her fascination with decorative and ornamental art, ceramics, and sculpture.
Currently, Luna Lobo is expanding her artistic horizons, delving into the realms of ceramics and sculpture, further enriching her practice with new techniques and mediums. Her art continues to evolve, guided by a deep-seated passion for creativity and a desire to explore the limitless possibilities of artistic expression.
