Olivia Appelius, née en 1992, est une artiste pluridisciplinaire oeuvrant dans différents médiums tels que la peinture, le dessin, la photographie, l'écriture, la performance...
Principalement autodidacte, elle développe très tôt un goût prononcé pour toutes formes d’art. Dès l’enfance, elle dessine, peint et suit une formation de musique et de danse classique durant 11 ans au Conservatoire Maurice Ravel de Saint Jean de Luz, puis assiste brièvement les Ateliers des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux en 2015.
Expérimentant plusieurs résidences à l’étranger, elle développe son propos artistique et trouve son style débouchant sur diverses expositions en Europe dont le forum Autrichien à Bratislava (2018), le salon Justmad à Madrid (2016), la Gallerie Suppan Contemporary à Vienne (2016), et est sélectionnée dans plusieurs prix d’art tel que le Luxembourg Artprice et le Prix International de Photographie de Moscou (2020/2021). Certaines de ses oeuvres figurent dans la collection privée du musée Carlo Billoti à Rome (IT), de Fernando Galan le directeur du magazine Artes (EQ).
Son corpus de travail est apprécié par différents critiques d’art, commissaires d'expositions et directeur de musées internationaux tels que Dieter Ronte (DE), Enrique Juncosa (ES), Robert C Morgan (US), Ewald Stastny(AT).
