I am a representational painter and I love creating vibrant oil and gouache paintings of everyday subjects. I get inspired by everything around me and take great pleasure in transforming the mundane into something extraordinary!

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and painting seriously for over two decades now. After years of training to be an oil painter, I also ventured into Gouache a few years ago and love the medium. I now prefer oils for my larger work and gouache during all my travels and for smaller work.

My focus has been the contemporary still life for a few years now. I do the occasional landscape or figure but I am drawn back to the beautiful art of the still life. I paint from life in my studio or outdoors in Germany. 

My other artistic pursuits include life drawing (drawing the human figure from direct observation) and urban sketching. Thank you for stopping by my page, feel free to write in if you have any questions.
