I always remember having a pencil in my hand. Although for years I received university training in technical drawing and representation systems at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, my artistic training, except for different periods in art academies in the same city, has been fundamentally self-taught. In any case, I do not believe that both facets are completely independent.

I like the portrait, since I see it as a means of expressing the emotions that the people, characters or animals I draw have provoked in me. This way I try to turn drawing into a medium in which humble elements, such as pencil, graphite and paper are able to transmit emotions in an honest and austere way.
