About the Gallery
Welcome to the Virtual Exhibition "Modern Female Image", where 9 artists in 23 artworks answer the main question of the exhibition: What is it, the female image these days and in contemporary art?" Link in cover image and in news.
"We live in interesting times. During a time of absolute freedom of expression: opinions, positions, actions. Reflecting reality, this freedom finds more and more new artistic forms: in mixing styles and techniques, the formation of new directions in art, giving new subjects and images.
The KRs Art Gallery is a space that brings together independent artists from around the world and makes art accessible. Our gallery presents both young talents and established artists who are active in exhibition activities and are represented in museums and private collections around the world. The artists in our gallery present unique ideas and thoughtful images that emerge from their minds, based on great artistic practice and knowledge, the versatility of their interests, and vibrant lives. They mix techniques and modernise images or plots, being free minded and living now and making unique art.
We believe that art can change the world by making people look at it differently. We think positively and believe that art unites. It's more accessible than it seems.

Artistic line
Based on the knowledge and experience of classical painting, the artists of our gallery rediscover traditions in a new way. They mix techniques, modernise images or plots, but it does not look like a set of ideas. They perform their own unique ideas and thoughtful images that emerge from their minds, based on great artistic practice and knowledge, the versatility of their interests and vibrant lives.

The gallery accepts applications from artists. Conditions for Artists's applications: Young talents or established artists of refresh thinking and classic background. No limits the genre or technique or experience. The main point is that you have something to say to the world.

Welcome to new artist in our online gallery - Ayuna Kanatkalieva.
Ayuna Kanatkalieva is a young but already popular artist from Syberia(Russia), who has lived in Spain for many years(Madrid, Palma de Mallorca). Works on genre "naive fine art" characterized by simplicity of forms, clarity and formal immediacy of the graphic-expressive language. In the same genre paintings by such outstanding artists of the twentieth century without special artistic education as Frenchman Henry Rousseau and the Georgian Niko Pirosmani, who created real masterpieces, painted into the treasury of world art, were painted.
Ayuna came to the visual arts already at mature age after a faithful meeting with Dalay Lama, who made an indelible impression on her. Since then, she has not stopped with paints and canvases working in a state of certain trance and meditation.
The artist is in constant creative search, mastering new techniques and trends in the visual arts, retaining in her work an ardent love for landscape and gravitating towards abstraction, and sometimes even cubism.
Only one thing invariable - Ayuna's works are charged with strength and energy.
For now Ayuna's paintings are in the private collections around the world - Israel, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweeden, Russia, Nitherlands, Germany, Colombia, Mexico, India, USA.

You can find all artworks in KRs Art Studio in Meiringen, Switzerland (Kirchgasse, 15) from 14.00 till 20.00 every Tuesday and Friday.

Cats in our life
Online Exhibition
In September this year our gallery will perform an online exhibition "Cats in our life".
The exhibition presents the artworks of gallery artists Anna Lageda, Lyudmila Korets and Ekaterina Shitova who are united by their love for cats. Artworks is painted in different techniques. Anna Lageda's artworks are made with pastels, watercolors and printing inks in the diatypia technique, they are filled with home comfort, a homely calm atmosphere of the relationship of people close to the artist with an animal sleeping here and there. The artworks of Lyudmila Korets are made in the technique of art-stroke smoothness and create images of a cat - evening and a cat - night, freely walking on the roofs of houses. Ekaterina Shitova's collages are humorous and full of symbols and images from different eras. They trace the connection of times. The viewer involuntarily asks the question: what was characteristic at that time and how it is now female images, concepts of beauty and femininity.
