A famous part of Jordan's deserts is called Wadi rum, which means moon valley. Movies like Ridley Scoott's The Martian or Star Wars, The Rise of Luke Skywalkers used that wonderful piece of land as a movie set.
For the 100 years state anniversary of Jordan the royal court asked me to create a sand art which is representing the named[...]
A famous part of Jordan's deserts is called Wadi rum, which means moon valley. Movies like Ridley Scoott's The Martian or Star Wars, The Rise of Luke Skywalkers used that wonderful piece of land as a movie set.
For the 100 years state anniversary of Jordan the royal court asked me to create a sand art which is representing the named Wadi Rum. Sure I can. For that I need some sand from right there.
With the first sand sample I got they had been cheating. The sand had been collected at the rim of a city. I can instantly recognize the difference. I insisted someone must ride out to the desert and getting me a sand from a certain place. Which came pretty soon and I created a nice round design of which they ordered a nice series.
Enough sand was left over to create another artwork and I created the Moon Valley with a crescent moon in the background. Mustic and beautiful. You feel like a night in a desert camp, watching the moon and listening to the silence of the desert.
We offer two sizes, both limited to 9 pcs. only. Of the 70 cm 2 pcs. left, 7 already sold. Of the 56 cm 4 pcs. sold.
Moon Valley comes with a wall bracket and all the necessary parts needed for a smooth installation and the later needed maintenance.
Like in all of my artworks you can regulate the speed of moving.
