Jill Nassau is a contemporary American artist. With her three-dimensional work of cast resin, mixed media reliefs, she combines figurative sculpture with a traditional two-dimensional background. With this technique she is able to produce a unique visual expression. She has decided to focus this series on couples interacting informally. The artist thinks that by using a three-dimensional method, the viewer will be able to see and feel the pleasant, intimate human emotions she is trying to depict more clearly. Her most recent works incorporate sculptures made of clay, resin, and gorgeous cut glass. This gives these three-dimensional visions a vibrant addition.

Jill Nassau attempts to represent specific occurrences that are uniquely personal, occasionally amusing, occasionally mystical, and unusual ways we all interact in our daily lives in her oil paintings on canvas portraits. The artist adores the ocean and beaches, as well as lovely people dressed in vibrant clothing that the sun highlights. There is an otherworldly atmosphere that arises when reflections dance on the water and the waves make both tranquil and powerful sounds. Her primary tools for capturing these feelings are brush and paint.
