Arribes (2020) Sculpture by Iñaki San

Iñaki San is a contemporary Spanish sculptor. He has always been drawn to the expressive potential of clay and the realm of art. In order to gain the qualifications and expertise required to create his own works, he enrolled in art school and has been in contact with master ceramicists for years. From that point forward, his entire life would be devoted to research, education, and the creation of both decorative and functional objects. His most recent works attempt to depict the characteristics of the region in which he lives, including the clayey, cracked ground caused by a lack of water, the cultivated fields of La Armua, and the woodlands of the Sierra de Francia.
