Josy Moderne is an accomplished photographer. Photography is the mode of expression that pushed her to sublimate and tell the poetry of our planet, as well as its fragility. Faced with a photograph that has frozen a moment in time, the imagination comes into play. She likes to think that each viewer appropriates the image through their own story, letting an emotion or a memory emerge and color an interpretation. very personal, perhaps arousing curiosity and a desire to give meaning.
By exploring different worlds, Josy Moderne has also developed a more artistic and contemporary approach. She likes to enter the intimacy of the tiny, to capture the energy of the living, to sublimate a moment, or to reinterpret reality. Her work reflects her exploration of shapes and colors. Thus, she offers different series of photographs which, through their diversity, express the evolution of her approach.
Josy Moderne is a self-taught artist. She became interested in nature photography about ten years ago, by chance, after seeing an image that triggered a series of emotions and a strong desire to understand and learn. So she searched and searched, scouring websites, reading books, and meeting photographers. She was born near the Dordogne and currently resides in Dieulivol (France). His work can be found in numerous private collections.
