Polish artist Zuzanna Andrysewicz is best known for her unique screen-printed portraits and surreal set designs. Her mediums for material art pieces are a mixture of different fabrics on which she uses textile dyes, paints, foil, and glitters. Zuzanna's set designs use second-hand objects, which are changed and deconstructed using a variety of mixed media (acrylic paints, sprays, expanding foam, and plaster). As a teenager, Zuzanna studied acting, which she says gave her valuable insights into human nature and emotion as well as developed her interest in psychology. While studying at Central Saint Martins, she won awards and participated in numerous exhibitions. Zuzanna has been recognized by fashion and homeware retailer, Anthropologie, who showcased her work in their Spitalfields store for almost two years after she won a competition to create a window display for them. The collaboration was successful, and she was offered space to sell copies of her work to Anthropologie customers. Her other experience includes being part of the Design and Make exhibition at Lethaby Gallery. Zuzanna lives and works in Białystok (Poland).
