These closed places, where all activities have been stopped, all these places which have been emptied of their substance, all the places where there were social and cultural interactions during this period of pandemic linked to Covid-19. We also imagined a sort of common thread, an element in
a photo that we find in every place without exception, namely a red megaphone as a symbol of discontent and demand. The restitution of this project has already taken the form of a book of art photographs of 165 images in 140 pages, format 31x23 cm.

Photographer Jean-Paul Fermet is well-known. His recent works are heavily influenced by science fiction. He depicts post-apocalyptic landscapes. In his photographs, he explores physical, social, and psychological confinement, isolation, and the struggle for survival. Since 2016, he has been collaborating and symbiotically working with Nathalie FATON. All photographs are now signed FERMET & FATON. On all of her creations, this woman is sublimated into the role of a comic book or mythological heroine.
He frequently uses highly saturated and intense colors to accomplish this. Occasionally confrontational, occasionally provocative, his framing and compositions elicit strong emotions in those who enter his universe.
Jean-Paul Fermet is a Haute-Saône native. He now resides in Lons-le-Saunier and works there (France). Numerous exhibitions, including Art Capital in Paris, have featured his work.
