Yevgeniy Prokopov is a contemporary award-winning Ukrainian sculptor. Prokopov is widely known for his monumental sculptures and he has been awarded with numerous national and professional prizes and honors in recognition of his artistic achievements. Specialized art publications, art history journals, and art enthusiast books worldwide contain articles and printed replicas of his sculptures.

Prokopov’s sculptures has been shown around 30 museums and galleries internationally such as: National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv and Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine, Ukrainian National Museum of Chicago and Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, Chicago, Illinois, USA, Museum of Biblical Art, Dallas, Texas and Ukrainian Institute of America, New York City, USA. His artworks are in private collections in Ukraine, United States, Israel, Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland. In 2005 his artwork was sold at Sotheby’s Auction.

Yevgeniy Prokopov was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1950. He studied sculpture at the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture in Ukraine. In 1980 Yevgeniy received a PhD in visual arts from the Academy of Arts in Moscow. He lives and works in Florida, USA.
