Born in Brittany in 1943, he arrived in Provence in the years 1953/54. Very quickly, he feels the need to paint, although nothing predestines him for that.

Self-taught, he paints St Victoire, like ... But very quickly he emerges from impressionism, and deviates towards the abstract, on classical supports.

Then, he is interested in matters, materials, experiments with mixtures ... and lets speak his imagination (for him the very essence of an artist) and prefers to favor the emotion with the specialized judgment.

He meets the sculptor Jean Amado, and works with him. He will not stop collaborating with Jean Amado until his death.

His universe is populated with symbols, but he has the grace to give others free rein to their imaginations.
He does not impose, he submits, he proposes, and invites ....
