Sleeping tenderness (2022) Painting by Yana Bila

I, Bila Yana, was born and live in Ukraine in the city of Nikolaev. I studied drawing from childhood and always enjoyed it. But I was always surrounded by creative people and I thought that everyone can draw and there is nothing special about it, so when it came time to choose a profession, I became a guitar teacher. I received recognition there and achieved success. After spending time at home, taking care of the child, remembering how I loved to draw. I have been working as an artist since 2021. 

I love everything mysterious, ambiguous and real. My paintings are just like that. I like to show the ambiguity of things and people. I think the interestingness of this world is hidden precisely in such contrasts, where the beautiful is combined with the scary, and something cute turns out to be dangerous. I hope you will also enjoy solving riddles and observing interesting combinations in my works.
