Eternity captured by colours. Energy that comes from within contained in the core of existence. Swirls that come over to teach you to stay yourself and keep the right balance. Spring comes after winter, Autumn after Summer. Life circle is eternal and wise as Mother Nature. Its storms are devastating, yet cleansifying. Its energy is wild and terrifying. Yet it's the power that lies deep within. And once touched, is undeniable. This original painting reflects upon the philosophical questions of life and death, forgiveness and recreation. It was painted when my life started to belong to me and I let the energy from within to come out and show itself. The understanding of what came out became transparent only later as the pricelessness of creative impulse and life itself. All is experience, yet it takes time to realise that all you need sometimes is just stop and see the beauty. Stop and see what you have created. And realise that you have created something beautiful and amazing as life itself.

Yours,
ÄNA

Born on November 14, 1990 in Russia. Since childhood I've been stubborn, spontaneous and loved to paint. My family moved very often and for the susceptible child it was a great sideshow. My family finally settled in Moscow. The noisy life of megapolis where individuality is erased so easily, shaped my intraverted individuality. Alienated aloofness outside, yet burning and sparkling inside - the kindhearted inner child was well hidden from the rough real world and eventually showed up when fingers touched ink, plasticine, paint - whatever - this is when the world of magic came in.

Anyway, after graduating from Moscow state linguistic university that taught me the power of a word in image creation and all kinds of different stuff, my family moved. We moved to Prague, it was a very strange experience. I had to work a lot and develop my communication skills that I've always been so unwilling to develop ... Quite successfully I learnt Czech in a couple of months, but life there didn't turn out what we expected it to be, so - we moved again. Anyway, it was a place where I rented a studio for the first time.

Back in Russia, I managed to have a couple of months' rest and continue my artistic research. Studying photography at the time and occasionally returning to painting, I came to realize that I already have quite a portfolio, so here I am with it. I dunno what will happen the next moment =) Anyway, I feel that the life trip has just started as well as my artistic achievements.
