Wim van de Wege is an impressionistic contemporary Dutch landscape painter. He creates paintings that provide the viewer a fascinating and enigmatic landscape environment by fusing a variety of different techniques and materials. Perhaps the most significant aspect of the creation for the artist is the atmosphere. The artist has succeeded in communicating his message if the spectator of the work appreciates the scenery and feels the atmosphere.

Wim van de Wege was born in 1966, in the Netherlands, where he graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. He exhibited his works nationally, as well as internationally, in the UK, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain and the USA. Many of his works are included in private and public collections in over 40 countries.
