...The lyricist is a driven creature, a sheep in need of a shepherd, but a sad metamorphosis occurs with successful lyricists: not considering themselves shepherds, they begin to say that there is no need to go anywhere at all, that they already know everything and are no longer sheep, but camels . Well, they ride them like camels - and even cut their hair on the sly. They do not believe in life essentially -This is too organically absorbed, “with mother’s milk,” with the words and deeds of everyone near and far. They don’t bring up, for example, that the words “worker” and “slave” are synonyms. They think that slaves are only where there is cotton and whips, where they don’t pay money and the owner cannot be changed. They do not understand that they are pessimists and sad skeptics. And with each success they only lift their noses higher and higher - pessimism and despondency do not go away. “He who is under the law is in the shadow of death” - it was said two thousand years ago. Christianity is the message that there are sins for life and righteousness for death in Pharisaism. And any lyricist will say that it’s still a question of who is better - this dubious, confused type or that exemplary family man and citizen. All exemplary people simply have not yet begun to live; they are all head over heels in delirium, which the caste of authorities diligently supplies them with. They were left with very few sound postulates - just so that they didn’t hang out, didn’t rave continuously and out loud, and were fixed in the middle of the swamp. Prison - and there will never be will: only nonsense and poor “common sense”. Knock them out of their scheme, the outline along which they run to and from work, and they will all begin to go crazy, they will fall into indescribable despair. “Make me a cog in any machine, a machine for anything.” The bright light of will is very scary for them, underground inhabitants, accustomed to living in comfortable shadows...
I don't like exhibitions - they are too soulless, formal and hypocritical, and require worries and troubles.
I don't like money in art
I don't like money in art, a career in art is certain death for an artist
Painting is for yourself, for the soul. Let others figure it out for themselves. I am unable to create when alien, unpleasant people are looking at me
Painting is for yourself, for the soul. And let others figure it out for themselves. I am not able to create when alien, unpleasant people look at me
I don't like bright nonsense
Je n'aime pas les absurdités vives
I don't like sugary rot
Art is not bags of sugar and butter
L'art n'est pas des sacs de sucre et de beurre
Art is not deconstruction
Art is not deconstruction
L'art n'est pas une déconstruction
Art is life , geometry is death
Art is life, geometry is death
The most beautiful thing is life, not art.
The most beautiful thing is life, not art.
Le plus beau est la vie, pas l'art.
We are dead if we need artificial beauty
We are dead if we need artificial beauty
I am a punk and an experimenter, but a humanist and not a lover of geometry
