Wendy started playing music on the piano at the age of 5 & started holding her first palette knife to slap on the oil canvas at the age of 9. Her formal education included both aspects :Art design degree in London Hornsey College of Art & Guildhall School for music . She has worked in design dept.at the BBC TV, Thames TV & Madame Tussauds Wax Museum alongside being a performing jazz pianist in her formative years.
Wendy loves painting landscape & seascape. She paints with joy, with passion, with vibrant colours & an eye for nature's light & form. Her subjects are of places that speak to her & make her happy. She often goes to the Mediterranean countries where she takes lots of photos with the bright sunlight & turquoise sea. She takes inspiration from these photos & translate
them onto her works. She mostly uses oil as a medium but the last few years she has started experimenting with acrylic, pastels & mix medias. With these new mediums she has been inspired to create some abstract art .Here she would like to share with you her arts & hope you would enjoy the visual journey......
