Presentation
Artist of the material, I am complicit in his whims
I work in wood and stone; it is the clay that allows me to express myself with the most spontaneity and sincerity. I like the contrast between clay and enamels, matte and shiny, rough and smooth.
Elements inspired by nature are placed on the basic structure: flowers, trees, leaves, birds, mussels, corals, shells, fish, etc. Depending on the time and place, they catch the light in different ways. I like the play of shadows and light or colors.
Artist of the material, I become an accomplice to its whims, I let myself be guided by my intuition. I gladly do research on ash glazes. The sculptor's spatula is my lifelong friend.
My pieces are unbridled and exuberant, freed from all constraints. They express my taste for diversity. Largely feminine, they are imbued with sweetness, love, warmth and cheerfulness. Or else they translate the sadness, the despair, the revolt which inhabit humanity. The transition from one emotion to another is subtle and sometimes rapid.
All my creations are made from materials and products that respect the environment.
