Viviana Gómez is a contemporary sculptor based in France. She started off working with paper utilizing a Mexican paper collage technique. As time passes, the universe she creates becomes more feminine. She likes to play around with her figures' rounded and slender shapes. Yoga, dance, numerous artistic mediums, as well as ladies with intense and occasionally careless enthusiasm, all serve as sources of inspiration for her.

Gómez models, sculpts, and shapes the various materials from a memory or an emotion to produce a world of lyrical characters that, when caught in the act of gesture, oscillate between reality and fiction. In this process, she has been captivated by three different media: paper, earth, and bronze, each with its own distinctive qualities and expressions.

Viviana Gómez was born in 1965, in Peru. She displayed her work at galleries and art fairs both nationally and internationally.
