Virginie Schroeder, a contemporary French painter, embarked on her artistic journey during her studies in art and design, where she cultivated a distinctive style marked by the harmonious blend of vibrant colors and expressive compositions.
While initially exploring the realm of interior design in Paris and Toulouse, Virginie discovered her true passion as a graphic designer. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a talent for visual composition, she excelled in creating graphic projects that surpassed the expectations of her clients.
Simultaneously, Virginie never abandoned her love for painting. Her canvases become dynamic explosions of color and energy, inviting viewers to feel and vibrate with each brushstroke. Each painting serves as an invitation to emotions and contemplation, reflecting her unwavering passion for artistic expression.
Inspired by 20th and 21st-century graphic trends and drawing from the art of the masterful Keisai, Virginie directs her focus towards shapes, values, contrast, and movement, capturing impressions and emotions. She particularly embraces the art of sketching and "taken from life," considering it a means to connect with the present and the emotions that arise from it.
Today, as both a painter and a graphic designer, Virginie Schroeder continues to explore the boundless possibilities of artistic creation.
