Jerusalem is a city that delights connoisseurs of architecture and history. The integrity of its appearance has been preserved, despite the numerous changes that have occurred over several millennia since the famous events described in literary sources. Its place names are very recognizable when looking at the city from the highest observation deck of the Old City, the Lookout Observation Deck on top of the Aish HaTorah World Center, The Western Wall.
A series of panoramic views of Jerusalem was created thanks to a method I developed for creating highly detailed images by stitching several dozen consecutive frames of photographs of the same view. The technical quality of the images allows you to print photo panoramas up to five meters long. Print are possible in color.

Victor Ribas is a pioneer in creating photographic portraits with laser lighting. He excluded sources of usual light from photography and change them to laser beams.

The author names his artworks Linear Fractal Portraits. The reason is joint research in the field of "humanitarian fractals", which was carried out thanks to the Russian scientist philosopher Vladislav Tarasenko. At the symposium “Autopoiesis and fractals in interdisciplinary research of complexity” at the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2008, a phenomenological idea was presented that a human is fractal in its nature.

Visually technicians of Viktor Ribas consist of multiple tracks which laser rays leave on the surface of an object, outlining the relief and helping to display its shape that is created only in our visual perception.

Looking at the photos, we can see the essence of things and people and easily understand the person, their occupation, and abilities.  This technique produces precise and impressive results.

The author excludes any other methods of creating images in his artworks, except using backlight color or multi exposition.

Victor Ribas is a Russian professional artist, and film director; a graduate of Khabarovsk Institute of Fine Arts and Culture.
