My name is Viktor Babak.
I was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, in the Carpathian region.
He received his art education in the amazingly picturesque mountain region of Ukraine, in the Kosiv region. It was here that during 1977–1981 he studied at the technical school of folk arts and crafts at the "artistic tree" department.
Studying at this institution deepened my worldview and shaped my views on art in general.
The Carpathian nature, the richness of its flora and fauna inspire the creation of new works. My favorites are both realistic works (portraits, animalistics) and abstract compositions that I draw in pastel and acrylic techniques.
I love abstractionism for absolute freedom and the possibility to depict even indescribable emotions, feelings, thoughts. In this style, not only the artist gets freedom, but also the one to whom his work is directed.
Each of my works is unique and unrepeatable, as I put my emotions, thoughts and feelings into it. Such works can become a wonderful addition to your interior! The works are in private collections both in Ukraine and abroad.
Since 2016, I have been participating in collective regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions of abstract art.
Since 2019, I have been the organizer and curator of regional annual exhibitions
"Abstract Art" in Ivano-Frankivsk.
