Véronique Fournier, sculptor and photographer, draws her inspiration from nature and the creatures that inhabit it. Born near Nancy, she grew up in the Paris region, although her heart beats for the vast wilderness. Her artistic career stems from her attraction to nature, a love she developed despite beginnings in the sports field.
After obtaining two master's degrees in the sports field, Véronique let herself be caught up in her passion for nature, in particular for marine mammals. She became an animal keeper, devoted to dolphins and sea lions, before taking on the role of educational mission manager in an amusement park. Its objective is to create and develop school activities to raise public awareness of the wonders of these exceptional creatures.
Marine mammals and the journeys that led her to meet them revealed something obvious in her: photography. Convinced of the importance of reconnecting human beings to nature and preserving the beauty of our planet, in 2009 she created NaturAnima, a self-employed company specializing in Environmental Education. The same year, she obtained a university degree in "Methods and Techniques of wildlife and nature photography" issued by the IFFCAM (French-speaking Institute for Training in Animal Cinema of Ménigoute).
Her love for equestrian photography gradually emerged, first as an accompanist to her daughter, an avid rider. Then, this love for the equine world, which already fascinated her in her childhood, resurfaced with force.
For Véronique, nature animation and photography come together to form an artistic symbiosis. These two mediums allow him to share his wonder at the richness, astonishment and fascinating diversity of nature, even if the latter undergoes new attacks every day.
Her passion for vast landscapes and wildlife also finds an outlet in sculpture and modelling. These three-dimensional artistic forms allow him to express his love for animals and the great outdoors in a tangible way. Her commitment to the preservation of nature is reflected in her designs, highlighting the fragile beauty of our natural world.
