My respect to Adriano Celentano (2021) Painting by Valeriy Chaykin

I believe that art should motivate development and good; highlight something worthy, give some experience. So I decided to portray one of, in my opinion, the most interesting, multi-faceted and truly creative people — Adriano Celentano. For me, he is one of the examples of how one person can do so many different, really cool and iconic things, achieve success in different areas and at the same time be a worthy person in life, inspire and delight generations; he is absolutely deserved to be a living legend. I hope that the photo will be able to convey the positive emotions that I experienced while drawing this work, and the charge of energy and motivation that this Real person and artist in spirit gives to the world, including me.

As for the technique and materials, in this work I decided to complicate my aerosol technique by adding marker lines, brush strokes, and smudges of paint. Gradually applying layer after layer with different materials, I tried to achieve depth and dynamics in the work to create the effect of "falling inside the textures". A huge number of layers created a sense of volume when touched. All materials are based on acrylic and covered with a special acrylic varnish, which makes the canvas very dense, more resistant to deformation and durable.
