There are places that seduce
by the beauty of the very close
and the abandonment of distance.
A romantic painting of a place,
where you expect to meet an angel.
With blooming grasses all around
in the mountain haze of sun
we are sharing the protection
of rocks, stones and leaves
and would like to never leave.
TECHNIQUE
I used for such realistic nature pictures
very special technique in which the
fixation of objects (including parts
of real grasses and leaves) onto the
underground (usually with paste) plays a role.
PICTURE
An old picture and an old photo.
It had been painted about 20 years ago -
I don't know it exactly - and was sold later
for a lower price to a friend..
If I still had the painting, I would enhance
locally the dynamics of brightness and colors
with silk colors.

These are very special, mostly used: Diluted acrylic colors and pigments form
controlled puddles on the horizontal plate and dry . This is repeated locally
several times. Often contours are finally enhanced a bit.
* Story:
Each picture is a small individual, described by its "story" in a lyrical
diction, whose appeal is unfortunately lost in an automatic translation.
* Rule:
Although most pictures are figurative, the principle is to show only those
that would please also as mere abstracts, simply by its structures and forms.
* Influenced by:
late romanticism (also in music) , including Art Nouveau, symbolism and Nabis.
Later styles I ignored mostly except of some of the last about 16 years.
* Exhibitions:
Some took place in the own villa and others in an old castle above the rhine.
Also participation in artfairs and exhibition in a gallery.
I enjoy the title of an NAA ("non acknowledged artist"), certainly an honorable title
in view of all that, what is used to be acknowledged.
