As a little boy I often went
to the small ponds in the nearby forest.
They were bomb craters from the war,
filling up with water.
Life moved there in crowding
very close together.
So now I take again a sample in a glass
and see the same abundances of life
and then return again it to the pond.
MATERIAL , COLORS, FRAME
The picture was painted in 2016 on a 4 mm
plate of wood in the upright format 75 x 131 cm .

and silk paints.

STRUCTURE AND PICTURE
It needs patient meditations
to find a fitting theme.
But sometimes attractive structures
give themselves a hint
on what to do with them.
So also here for this painting.

controlled puddles on the horizontal plate and dry . This is repeated locally
several times. Often contours are finally enhanced a bit.

Each picture is a small individual, described by its "story" in a lyrical
diction, whose appeal is unfortunately lost in an automatic translation.
* Rule:
Although most pictures are figurative, the principle is to show only those
that would please also as mere abstracts, simply by its structures and forms.
* Influenced by:
late romanticism (also in music) , including Art Nouveau, symbolism and Nabis.
Later styles I ignored mostly except of some of the last about 16 years.
* Exhibitions:
Some took place in the own villa and others in an old castle above the rhine.
Also participation in artfairs and exhibition in a gallery.
I enjoy the title of an NAA ("non acknowledged artist"), certainly an honorable title
in view of all that, what is used to be acknowledged.
