Samsara Painting by Tsanko Hristov

Tsanko Hristov (1984) is a Bulgarian fine art contemporary artist, now based in Oslo. He
discovered art at an early age and creativity became a life long passion.
He graduated the Fine Art School of Fine Art and Design "Akad. Dechko Uzunov"- Kazanluk and Landscape
architecture – he has a master degree and has worked as an architectural scale model maker.
After working on scale models, he became aware that the focus on details is really important.
His love for details can be recognized in his work as they lead to stories within stories in his
paintings. He involves many small details and he connects them with logic and harmony that
will make the beholder of the paintings think.
Some of his paintings are crossing point between figurative and abstract elements. His
technique ranges from graphic to picturesque. He often experiments in the search for new
techniques and builds on his new works using the experience from the old ones.
The balance is the main theme in his art. He finds it in ideas, forms, colors and scales.
In an illustrative, figurative and abstract way he visualizes and shares his point of view on life.
Art should give you meaning, feeling and provoke only in a positive way.
He has several participations in exhibitions in Bulgaria.

• June 2017 “The Thief Art Space” solo exhibition in the elite five-star hotel "The Thief" –
Oslo
• "Art Studio Aknod" - Stranda (September 2017) and collaborates with the gallery
• Solo exhibition "Cafe Magenta" – Fredrikstad (April 2018)

• Take a part in "Lucca Art Fair" – Lucca, Italy (May 2018)
• Solo exhibition at "Galleri Kunstgress" - Oslo (June 2018).
