We did an artcollab with 11 artists. I of them supplied this reference picture and 11 artists painted it in their colors and style. So 1 reference photo, 11 artists, 11 paintings.

This was my version and i really loved to paint this painting.

On the photo were boats in the sea in Greece, like a holiday picture.

It was made on 100% cotton with watercolor from Daniel Smith, Schmincke and Old Holand.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor.
