Trotter shares admiration for the Indians lost way of living , Here he lets Artist George Catlin (1830s)( who painted and lived with over 40 tribes),who says it best; " Ilove a people who are honest without laws,who no jails and no poorhouses,I love a people keep the commandnents without ever having read themor heard them preached, who never take the name of God invain ,and whoare free from religious animosities".
