Kırsal alan, dağlar, ormanlar, şehirler, kumsalların bir görüntüsünü yeniden üretmek birçok fotoğrafçının amacıdır. Fotoğrafın mucidi olarak kabul edilen Nicéphore Niépce , Judean bitüm ile kaplanmış teneke levhalar üzerine görüntüleri sabitlemek için üç işlemi bir araya getiriyor.
