Portrait aux pastels de Edward Norton, acteur emblématique du film culte Fight Club.
Dans ce portrait, tiré d'une image du film, j'ai insisté sur la saturation afin de souligner la "présence" de l'acteur indépendamment de son rôle, dont la photographie est plus "froide". J'ai rajouté la fumée de cigarette, discrète voire absente à la base, car je trouve l'image plus forte ainsi, créant une fêlure visuelle, comme un clin d'œil au film Fight Club. Idem pour les aplats de pastels mauves, qui suggèrent que l'acteur s'efface, se dissout dans le double rôle. Norton a cette force particulière d'avoir une justesse de jeu incroyable. Sans surjouer, il parvient à rendre ses personnages à la fois forts et fragiles.
