Minha paixão pela Arte foi crescendo com os anos de vida. Dos lápis de cor e canetinhas passei para a tinta a óleo aos 15 anos. Posso dizer que sou autodidata, pois só fui cursar uma Academia de Arte  aos 60 anos. Participei de salões e galerias, ganhei prêmios e vendi  obras em feiras e galerias. Percorri a Arte do desenho, ao óleo, ao acrílico, à gravura e hoje, aos 75 anos, dedico-me mais à aquarela, pois a suavidade, a sutileza e a delicadeza, penetraram em meu íntimo.  Nunca fiz da Arte uma profissão, no sentido de sobreviver do ganho financeiro, mas isso me permitiu trilhar meu caminho com liberdade. A Arte me permite ver o mundo e expressar o que sinto. Por isso afirmo com orgulho que sou artista visual.
