I painted this oil painting from a phot I took while living in Oregon, I was walking by Hecta lighthouse and went around the back where the river is running out to the pacific ocean. Creating, art comes in many forms, from music to building, it is invention and rewarding. I hope to share the art I have developed over the years with you. I am self-taught in my art, I really wanted to go to an Art school when I was younger, but life happens and didn't go that route, so creating became a hobby for me, something I could do on those cold rainy days in the northwest. Let me know what you think of my pieces, would love the feedback (be gentle), I have been trying to create the best piece, I haven't got there yet but still have a few years to work on improvements. My hopes are to become better and more confident in what I do. This is the first time I have posted my art pieces for sale on the internet, guess I'll see how it turns out....Create and share the gifts you have, encourage others in their passions.  

I have an Instagram account called Chickenwhat that has a lot of my photos I've taken over the years, my idea was that when I am older and retired, I would then have a lot of photos to choose from to paint,
