On a cold winter day, you don't want to leave the house. You brew yourself some tea from the most delicious and useful herb in Russia, "Ivan-tea", and take a brush in your hands. And then a blue sky, roofs of a Russian village in the distance, and a summer meadow with lilac flowers appear on my canvas. This is "lvan-tea," or fireweed.
It stands quietly bobbing its head, bowing to the bee and the bumblebee. It burns, blazes, rages, repeats the most delicate colors of dawn. It grows unpretentious, it reaches for the sun with an arrow, it blazes proudly with its peaked head.
Let this picture be a warm memory of summer, of the field with flowers.

About this artwork: Classification, Techniques & Styles

Oil

Paint consisting of pigments bound with linseed oil or carnations. The traditional technique consists of superimposing layers of paint increasingly rich in oil for a solid and durable hanger.

Lacquer

Paint made with a resin from tree sap, various shrubs or with lacquer paints based on thermosetting resins. The technique consists in superimposing layers of lacquers with a vigorous polishing between each layer. It is mostly smooth shiny, but can sometimes also be satin or very Matt.

Figurative and colorful painting having taken the liberty of including all forms of art without border of cultural genre and geographic origin, without hierarchy of values between high and subculture.

My name is Svetlana Samsonova (Ural, city of Perm, Russia). I am a self-taught and independent emerging artist. For 8 years now and forever my whole life has been dedicated to art. And I have many more unfulfilled plans!!! During this time, I have tried more than one technique, but my favourite one is oil.

When I paint hyperrealism in small careful strokes, I meditate like in my favorite yoga. And I switch when I paint large formats, I express the whole palette of my emotions with bright colours and large strokes. I get a new round of inspiration.
I work very hard, I try to improve my technique constantly. I varnish all my paintings for the best play of colors and my customers love it.
Bright colours and emotions are the main colour of my paintings! I love a bright and juicy palette that brings joy and good mood, I really want to convey an atmosphere of warmth and happiness through my paintings. The whole world inspires me: landscapes, flowers and animals, everything that pleases us with bright colours.
