Stephane Paillot is a contemporary French painter and sculptor. Paillot's plastic research begins with a "sensitive reality", a notion that has become a concept thanks to Aristotle. "Sentient beings are compounds of matter and form, matter is the substrate of change."

This material evolves, it has its own life and poetically develops relationships with its environment. This poetry offered by mineral or organic matter, sometimes raw, fragmented, broken or burned, tells and offers as many possible stories.
