Stephan Joachim is a photographer who works as a director, and stage and costume designer for theatre. He started photographing when he was aged 6.
While working at the theatres, he started to photograph more and more opera and ballet productions. Meanwhile, he is officially regarded as a specialist in this genre.
For several years his work began to become more artistic and he started this new era of style: His works are now influenced by nude fine art elements. And he developed his personal style using his photographs, putting them on materials like canvas or metal plates and combining them with paint, gold leaves, shellac, and more.
