Smiitaa Chatterjee

After working for 24 years in a reputed Bank, I resigned to continue my passion of painting, trekking in the Himalayas and travelling, and photography. I am self taught artist.  

Painting is my passion since my childhood. I started with charcoal sketches. I used water colors and pastels, too. When I started my first oil painting, I was so scared to start and of the outcome but it went on well. From then on, Oil Colors are my favorite. 

You will see the impact of nature and wildlife in few of my paintings as I travel a lot and also do wildlife photography.

I mostly do Oil Paintings but sometimes I also do Acrylic Paintings and Resin Art.

I have been into Oil Paintings for more than 12 years. My paintings are for sale on a few Art Selling Websites. And, I could see few of them.
